Vocal Refresh gives you a personalized plan of short warm-ups — whether you're coming back to singing or building a stronger voice. All of it private, all of it on your time. No audience, no judgment, nobody hears you but you.

Vocal Refresh - Your best voice is ahead

FOR WOMEN WHO WANT MORE

Aria - Vocal Refresh Mascot

Your voice back in three steps.

1

Sing four short exercises

Find your home note. How low, how high. Hold it steady. Match this note. About six minutes, into your phone, in a room by yourself.

2

Get a plan pitched to that voice

Your first five-minute session is ready the same day, built for the voice you have now rather than the one you're comparing it to.

3

Retest and see what moved

Practice five minutes a day and retake the check whenever you want proof. The number moves before the feeling does.

Kids, career, everything else came first. Your turn now.

Which one is you?

A woman singing freely at home

“I sang in my twenties.”

School, church, a band, one musical. Then twenty years. You want to sing around the house without wincing, and maybe walk back into a choir.

A trained singer performing at a microphone

“I was in a choir for years.”

You held down an alto line and you miss the room as much as the music. You want to be ready before anyone hears you try to get back in.

A woman with headphones singing along with her phone

“I sing in the car and nowhere else.”

You sang a bit at school and you’ve hummed ever since. You want ten minutes a day that belong to nobody else, and something to show for them.

SOUND FAMILIAR?

You tried to sing along, and your voice cracked.

And that crack felt like proof. Proof you waited too long, that it's "just your age”, that the singer you were is gone for good.

She isn't. Your voice got crowded out by career, raising a family, and everything else, and the crack you hear is rust, not loss. But nobody hands you a way back: lessons feel like too much, YouTube is chaos, and you're not about to practice where the family can hear.

The day you stopped singing wasn't the end. It was a pause.

A vocal coach in your pocket, built for the voice you have and where you want it to go.

🔒

Nothing leaves the device

The audio is analyzed on your phone and then it’s gone. There’s no library of your recordings, because we never have them.

⏱️

Five minutes, wherever you are

A morning, a lunch break, the ten minutes after everyone’s gone to bed. The sessions are built around a full life, not a spare hour you don’t have.

🎯

A plan that starts where you are

Four levels, set by your voice check. Ten years away or never stopped — it meets the voice in front of it.

📈

Range you can measure

Retake the check whenever you like. Feeling better is nice. Watching the range move is better.

📖

Somewhere to put it down

Guided prompts after a session, for the days it goes well and the days it doesn’t.

Built by someone who lost hers

Ingrid Moss trained at USC and taught for twenty-five years. She lost her own singing voice to a busy life and built the app she wanted on the way back.

A look inside

Your practice, at a glance.

Open the app and today’s session is already waiting — no decisions, no setup, no pressure.

  • A gentle warm-up, one focus, and a soft landing — every day.
  • Voice-health tips between sessions — the small things a teacher would mention on your way out the door.
  • A practice calendar that fills in behind you — and doesn’t scold you when a day gets away.
B
Your month.

Today's session

A gentle warm-up, one focus, and a soft landing.

HEALTH

Your voice likes water

Sip water through the day, not just before you sing. A hydrated voice moves more easily and tires less.

“You’ve missed singing and don’t know how to get your voice back into shape.”

I know what it’s like to put your family, career, and life first, telling yourself, I’ll get back to singing one day. Then one day — a year, two years, even ten years later — you realize how much you miss it. It hurts to hear others sing, because you wonder why you ever stopped, and you have no idea how to get your voice back. It’s a part of you that’s been buried for far too long.

I know that feeling because I lived it. When my daughter was born, I stepped away from singing publicly to focus on my family. I stopped singing every day, and over time I realized my voice wasn’t as strong as it had been when I was taking weekly voice lessons and performing regularly. I felt sad, panicked, and almost gave it up for good.

Then I remembered a promise I made at sixteen. After discovering my best friend’s mom had a beautiful voice, I promised God, myself, and my parents that if I was given the opportunity to study voice and pursue musical theater, I would never stop singing. I would sing for the rest of my life and share that gift with others.

So, I found my way back.

For more than 25 years, I’ve helped women do the same. I coach women who once loved singing but set it aside while building careers as doctors, lawyers, executives, educators, and leaders. The greatest joy for me is watching them realize their singing voice was never gone — it simply needed to get back into shape.

Your voice isn’t just about hitting the right notes. It’s about reconnecting with a part of yourself you’ve missed. Singing can be a powerful source of joy, confidence, creativity, and stress relief.

Vocal Refresh is the app I wish I’d had while rebuilding my own voice. It’s designed for real life — for busy schedules, quiet moments, and the courage it takes to sing again.

Your Questions, answered.

The basics

What is Vocal Refresh?
Vocal Refresh is a vocal training app designed for women coming back to singing after years away. It rebuilds your range, breath, and confidence through short, private, guided sessions — five minutes at a time, wherever you are.
What’s included in Vocal Refresh?
A personalized voice check that maps your current range, daily five-minute guided warm-ups matched to your level, voice journaling with guided prompts, and week-over-week range tracking so you can see your voice coming back — not just hope for it.
Where should I start once I download the app?
Start with your voice check: sing a few notes into your phone and Vocal Refresh maps your current range. From there you’re sorted into one of four levels and given a personalized plan — your first five-minute session is ready the same day.

Your voice

I can’t really sing anymore. Is this for me?
Especially you. Vocal Refresh is designed for voices that have changed — not for people who already sound great.
Is it too late for my voice?
The voice doesn’t expire — it waits. Time away and disuse are largely trainable, and most women notice something in the very first week.

Getting started

Do I need any equipment or experience?
Just your phone and a few quiet minutes. No gear, no music theory, no prior training required.
How much time does it take?
A few minutes a day. The whole app is built around short sessions that fit a full life.
What devices does Vocal Refresh work on?
Vocal Refresh launches on iOS/iphone — all you need is your phone’s microphone. No external gear required.

Pricing & access

Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime from your account settings, and you’ll keep access through the end of your billing period. No calls, no hoops.
When does it launch, and what will it cost?
